COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT

To close out 2025, I had the pleasure of performing at Allison Leber's 3rd Annual "Dearest Akron" comedy tribute show at the legendary Funny Stop Comedy Club in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. It was a great display of community connection which not only featured some of my most memorable musical memories in Akron, but also the memories of retired fire fighter, Oscar Williams.

I had the honor of speaking during the 2024 Akron Jazz & Blues Festival on the Tuneful Traditions Panel discussion. I was joined by moderator Theron Brown along with fellow panelists; Rodger Riddle and Rose-Vance Grom. The panelists discuss the impact that the civil rights movement and urban renewal projects had on both the Akron music and socio-economic scene.
Situated on the High Street Stage, in the heart of downtown Akron, you don't want to miss this candid conversation about the past, present, and potential music scene right here in Akron, Ohio.
